Promoting Nepal as birth place of Buddha and country of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha)

Would you collect 200 signatures to PROMOTE Nepal as Birthplace of Lord Buddha & Land Of Mt. Everest (Sagaramatha) ?

It might sound selfish or impractical but this is the truth: we might live without food, water for few days but can't live without self-respect. Even small children like to be appreciated, cared and loved. All grown up people have tendency to be appreciated and respected for anything they do.

We all crave for appreciation and hence do much social work, volunteering work, write, sing, speak etc. etc. How about our National PRIDE & RESPECT in the world?

We definitely would love to get RESPECT for the motherland and hence, the PETITION was started.

We started the PETITION: "Promote: Buddha was born in Nepal & Mt. Everest is in Nepal (www.nepalesepride.org)" in July, 2012 with confidence that we will collect 1,000,000 signatures from around the world and correct the fact that has been recorded wrong. Over seven billion people in

the world will know these facts about NEPAL (Never Ending Peace And Love), the country that lies between India and China as many people in the world have never heard of Nepal even though they know Lord Buddha's teachings and Mt. Everest (Sagaramatha) being the highest peak in the world.

Since we reached one of our major milestones of 1,500 petitioners, I would like to humbly request all the petitioners to think about this issue seriously and collect 200 signatures from your influence. It would be wonderful to involve everybody (i.e. 1,500 plus petitioners) but for some reason if everybody could not participate, we would like to request 200 committed, dedicated supporters to collect 200 each that will equal to 40,000 signatures.

It is up to us how soon we can do it. When 40,000 petitioners from various countries in the world promote NEPAL being the birthplace of Lord Buddha and Land of Mt. Everest, we believe the fact will be known sooner and corrections start taking place. Our goal is 1,000,000 and 40,000 signatures will take us to the goal sooner than later.
